majalahinggris.com – Surely you have often seen the news about floods and landslides in several areas in Indonesia during the rainy season. Not infrequently we also see in the news where people are not responsible for cutting down trees in the forest excessively to clear land, especially by burning the forest which adds to the problem of forest destruction. There are many impacts of felling this tree.

Indiscriminate felling of trees harms our environment. One of the impacts is the occurrence of floods and landslides. Due to the large number of trees that are cut down carelessly, water is not absorbed by the tree roots, resulting in flooding. Landslides also occur because trees that function to hold the soil from sliding and prevent rain erosion are cut down.

Another impact is on the level of air pollution. The longer the time, the more trees are cut down carelessly so that the level of air pollution increases because no one absorbs the carbon dioxide produced from factory and vehicle fumes. Trees that also function to produce oxygen are also reduced because they are cut down. It’s sad about the fate of our trees and forests.

So that’s why do reforestation. Do not cut down trees carelessly, especially by burning the forest. We must keep our environment green and beautiful. One tree alone is very useful for us. By doing reforestation, we can reduce air pollution in the surrounding environment, and prevent floods and landslides.

With such steps, we have kept the environment green and beautiful and kept away from all disasters, especially floods and landslides. Let’s do reforestation and don’t do illegal logging!
