Future Perfect Tense

Future perfect tense adalah tense yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu aktivitas yang akan sudah selesai pada satu titik waktu masa depan. Penggunaannya hampir mirip dengan present perfect tense. Hanya saja, future perfect tense ini merupakan bentuk masa depannya.

Rumus:
Positive (Verbal): S + will + have + V3 + Complement
Positive (Nominal): S + will + have + been + Adj/noun/adverb
Negative (Verbal): S + will + not + have + V3 + Complement
Negative (Nominal): S + will + not + have + been + Adj/noun/adverb
Interrogative (Verbal): Will + S + have + V3 + Complement?
Interrogative (Nominal): Will + S + have + been + Adj/noun/adverb

Notes:

  • Complement –> lanjutan dari kalimat/pelengkap kalimat.
  • Have digunakan untuk segala jenis subject (s).
  • Kata ‘by’ biasa digunakan dalam tense ini dengan arti ‘tidak lebih/pada’ (bisa dilihat pada contoh di bawah).

Contoh:

  • What will you have done by the end of today?
  • By next month, I will have been learned English for three months
  • On the 27th of December, it will have been one year since we know each other.

Penggunaan Future Perfect Tense:
Menunjukkan bahwa suatu aksi akan telah selesai pada suatu waktu di masa depan (penggunaan paling umum).

  • I will have been to Bali three times next year.
  • She will have finished her homework by tomorrow.
  • My father will have been repaired my computer next week.

Mengungkapkan suatu aktivitas yang akan sudah selesai atau terjadi sebelum aktivitas lain dilakukan di masa depan.

  • Before my mother wakes up, the floor will have been swept.
  • We will start doing this homework at 4 p.m. This homework will have finished if you come at 5 p.m.
